| White sauce |
Sauce with milk and flour, suitable for almost anything, from spaghetti, seafood casserole, vegetable casserole... Like the red sauce, prepare it, fridge it, and ready to use at anytime.
Ingredients
25g Butter (1/4 stick)
25g all-purpose flour (or 1.5 tablespoons)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
some salt and pepper
Directions
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Add flour. Stir and mix well.
- Add water, in small amounts gradually. Keep stirring when adding water. Avoid lumps.
- Add milk. Keep stirring. Boil until sauce thickened.
- Add some salt and pepper to taste.
