| Pan-fried Sirloin Steak |
Simple is the best. I need not use many seasoning. Only salt and black pepper is enough to bring about the most from the steak.
I serve it with baked potato and mushroom. It is great and once again, like my other tryings, it is simple, simple and simple and foolproof to success. Yummy!
Ingredients
4 sirloin steak (0.6 inch thick)
Sea salt
black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (olive oil)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (olive oil)
Directions
1. Rub both sides of each steak with olive oil.
2. Sprinkle the pepper and sea salt onto each side of steak.
3. Leave the peppered for half an hour for better taste. (I put it in fridge since I am living in sub-tropical region. I am afraid it will turn bad if I don’t put it in fridge.).
4. Heat the oil in a flat bottom frying pan. Add the steaks, with plenty of room between them, and let them develop a rich brown crust on the first side. It takes about 3 minutes.
5. Turn them and brown 2 minutes on the other side. It is about 70% cooked.
6. Check if the doneness is to your liking. Then it is ready to serve.

I just found that I was so careless that I've missed to list the steps to season the steak!
