Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Double Chocolate chip cookies
Rich with chocolate, perfect for a chocolate lover.

Double chocolate chip cookies

For about 40 cookies of bite-size with the following ingredients.
However, I find it a bit too sweet.  You may reduce some sugar I suppose.  But for a sweet lover, then it is just perfect.  Full mouth of sweet and chocolate, the feeling is so content!

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Directions


1.          In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with an electric hand mixer until light and fluffy.
2.          Add in the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.  Stir into the butter mixture until well blended.
3.          Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
4.          Put the dough in refrigerator for chilling for 1/2 hour.
5.          Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
6.          Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
7.          Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or just until set.
8.          Cool slightly on the cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
