Grilled Pork Ribs

Grilled Pork ribs
Easy, delicious and foolproof.  Simply put all the things into the oven and wait.

I've tried many times, sometimes using BBQ sauce and sometimes not. Both are delicious, though I would prefer not using BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

2 lbs spare ribs
4 cloves garlic

Marinades
5 tbsp dark soy sauce
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp wine

Directions

1.      Chop spare ribs into 10ng sections about 10cm long.  Pat dry, set aside.
2.      Crush garlic.  Place in a big bowl and mix well with marinade.  Marinte the ribs for at least 2 hours.
3.      Preheat oven to 250C.  Lay a sheet of aluminum foil in a roasting pan and place the ribs on it.  Put into the oven to grill for 15 minutes.
4.      Take out the pan.  Brush both sides of ribs evenly with marinade, turn over and continue to grill for another 10 minutes.
5.      Use a fork to pierce near the bone.  Ribs are fully cooked when the fork goes in easily.

Tips
1.      If the ribs start to get burnt on the surface, cover a sheet of foil over it to continue grilling.
2.      Use a fork to poke some holes on the ribs for the marinade to penetrate well into the meat.
3.      Use BBQ sauce to marinate the ribs.  Thin the sauce with wine or water if it is too thick.
