| Butter pound cake with walnut |
A most simple and natural cake. Yummy!
Ingredients
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cups butter
1 cup white sugar
4 1/2 tablespoons milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 330F(165F) with oven fan, or 350F(175C) without fan.
- Grease a 8x4 inch loaf pan, line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Beat in flour alternately with the milk, mixing justing until incorporated.
- Flod in walnut.
- Pour batter evenly inot the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake the cake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick test passed.
- Remove the cake from the oven. Immediately loosen cake edges with a knife. Allow to cool in baking pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the pan. Strip off the parchment paper and let it cool on wire rack.
